Since ReikiOne went 'live' on the web in 1996, it has been my goal to promote an understanding and acceptance of all forms of Reiki. The energy, no matter its name, flows from the same source, the Universe, and should receive the same respect as 'Traditional' Usui Reiki (hence the motto "One World, One Universe, One Source"). I welcome your comments and opinions, no matter how controversial they might seem to be, both via email and through your postings at the Message Center. Challenging the perception of Reiki within ourselves and others is a wonderful gift, for when we are not challenged, we cannot grow.

Outside of Reiki, I have a degree in Architecture and currently exist in the business world as the owner of a commercial Interior Design Firm - Esprit Design Inc.. In 2006, I opened Broad Ripple Art & Design with my partner Doug Arnholter. And, when I'm not busy with design, I teach Reiki and Yoga in and around Indianapolis, create art and write. While on the path of personal exploration, I discovered Reiki. I saw this energy first as only a tool for healing. But, as I continued to study, I came to understand it as much more than that - Reiki carries with it the power of personal and planetary transformation. With this site, I hope to explore the very essence of Reiki with you, from hypothesizing its beginnings, to where it is today, to what it's evolving into as the world continues to change.
