Teri, this is a great service. I was hoping somewhere to have a blog place where it is suitable to focus on Reiki issues, so we all can share.
To help get the discussion going, I’ll list a number of topics on which I’d be happy to engage in collaborative dialog.
1. Reiki Clubs at colleges, universities, and other sites. For example, see the home page for the club at the largest university in Virginia, USA: https://secure.hosting.vt.edu/www.reiki.org.vt.edu/index.php/Main_Page
2. Reiki-related research studies. What has been published? What studies might be undertaken? Who is interested in helping propose such studies?
3. Reiki activities online in Second Life (SL). Who is working there? Please meet me at EdFox Rieko … or have discussions here.
4. Reiki applied in a highly effective way to a wide variety of physical health conditions, from tennis elbow to cancer, from vertigo to neuropathy, from sweaty palms to lupus, from allergy to autism - using Tong Ren Therapy to focus on clearing associated energy blockages. See for example http://www.yinyanghouse.com/tongren/tamhealing_tongren_introduction
Thank you again, warmest regards, Ed

Hi Teri,
Thanks for keeping Reiki One alive! I’ve missed your newsletters so am glad to see this forum.
I’m wondering if anyone has experienced Reiki enhancing ones heat sensitivity. One of my students, about a week after her Level One attunement, found that she could sense the heat from her coffee maker from clear across the room. It scared her because at first she didn’t know what it was and thought the stove had accidently been left on! Any similar experiences?
Thanks,
Nancy

Welcome to ReikiOne.com. This site has been active on the web since 1996 and in that time, there have been many generations of this website. ReikiOne Press is the latest and, hopefully, the most efficient means to communicate. I’ve created a lot of community building features over the years - bulletin boards, chat rooms, weekly newsletters, practitioner/teacher directory - but the spammers have been getting the best of me lately, I’m sorry to say. My hope is through creating an interactive blog, we’ll all be able to communicate freely about Reiki, energy healing, and life along the path without viagra or xxx ads!
