I've been receiving emails this past week from subscribers who haven't been getting this newsletter lately. On closer investigation, it seems my ISP's server was timing out during the sends . . . Since we have a new cable modem installed here at my home, I decided to go back to sending the newsletter through my computer for the time being. I've researched the options for list hosting (like Topica) but I really don't like the forced ads that go along with each email sent. I've also looked at paid services, but they're just too expensive. So, I'll try this method for a while and see how it goes. If you receive this issue, and you're one of those folks who hasn't gotten a newsletter in a while, please drop me a note so I know the system is working again. Just a little more on the business side of things . . . My husband and I recently updated the ReikiOne homepage at http://www.reikione.com so if you get a chance, stop by and take a look. I've also uploaded a new page with my Yoga Class Schedule. If you're in the Indianapolis area, or just visiting, drop me an email if you'd like more information. Which brings me to my next topic. I'm sure many of you remember back in December when I was writing about trying to make the decision to attend yoga teacher training and asked you to help. Your outpouring of love and energy was wonderful and I went ahead and followed my dream, not knowing exactly where it would take me. It was scary at first, changing my whole direction like that, but the Universe is already letting me know I made the right decision. I'm just halfway through my certification training and already have four classes on my schedule. What was even more wonderful was being asked to teach First Degree Reiki at the center. The Healing Garden, where I take my classes, also has a massage school. Last Sunday, I was given the opportunity to bring Reiki to the massage students in an afternoon First Degree class. The energy was wonderful and continued to flow throughout the evening. Now I've been invited to teach First Degree to the other yoga teacher students and will do so in a couple of weeks. I always knew there was a connection between Reiki and Yoga for me, just didn't know how it would manifest itself. As both practices progress, I find a common bond in the energy between them - centering and grounding me, deepening both practices. So thank you for your kindness and love. It is greatly appreciated. techniques which require what we call "feel". Developing "feel" is like knowing when the horse is thinking of doing the right thing! I have also done wildlife rehabilitation in the past. I have always thought there was a special non-verbal communication and that I was just on the edge of "knowing". I have now and have had some wonderful animals in my life. Thank you for any thoughts on this matter. I feel it is connected somehow to my discovery of Reiki last fall.
