too, to a point, as the student always tends to be a reflection of the
teacher.
Do you want to 'create' a sense of wonder and respect within your teachers?
Do you wish to attune as many people as you can to Reiki Master Teacher
because it might pay the most for you?
Do you take the time to get to know your students, to sense their energy, to
determine if they are genuine?
Or do you take whoever wanders your way with no thought as to how they might
use the energy in the future?

experiences with self doubt. Imagine someone coming to you for Master
Teacher attunements and you don't know them. Their energy feels a bit
strange and you're uncomfortable in their presence. Do you go ahead and
make them Master Teacher anyway, ignoring your intuition because, after
all - who are we to judge who should get to be a teacher?

(Reiki or something else). Some of us are born teachers, others just don't
have the gift. This is neither good or bad, just the way it is. And one of
the responsibilities of being a Reiki Master Teacher is to sense and know if
someone who comes to you should be teaching. From this place of intuition,
we can further develop our personal ethics for the teaching of Reiki - but
first we need to get in touch with it.

caring responses to my question. I will indeed send Reiki to that past
situation, and allow any residual negativity to leave my aura. I know that
I recently "remembered" this experience in order to heal it, and am very
thankful for this forum to connect us all. So thank you too, Teri!
Degree initiate, in my First Degree class, I was taught that this may be
done by using the Law of Correspondence to let your heart "stand in" for the
place, situation or person, then simply giving reiki to your heart position.
We were taught that only the heart position may be used in this way. Good
luck and blessings.
class of 5 people. I was inspired to include a short explanation and
demonstration of distance reiki to them even though they weren't getting to
see or learn the distance symbol yet. I just showed them how to cup their
hands, make a reiki ball and imagine the issue/person in their hands. I had
read that distance doesn't work without the symbol, but decided to teach it
anyways. Out of the 5 people, 4 of them have emailed me back telling me
wonderful stories of them sending distance reiki to their loved ones or to a
future situation for themselves. They all reported great results. I'll
never teach another level 1 class without a section on distance again!
Also, I'd like to send a word of support to Taza and to remember that we are
only conduits for the Life Energy as directed by God-Consciousness. Keep
sending Reiki healing to yourself and others. Its truly a gift from God!

~~Reiki Experience~~
the Ellipse in front of the White House. James Twyman, who wrote the book,
"Emissaries of Love" about his work with a world wide network of Psychic
Children, organized a vigil - and opportunity to send love to George Bush,
Saddam Hussein and other world leaders. The children said that we should
pray for and send love to the children "inside" the leaders that they could
be guided to taking actions that are for the good of the whole world.
there if I could. The plan was for people all around the world to pray and
send love at the same time, coinciding with 11am Eastern time, on April 1st.
I was only able to stay for part of the time, but it was a powerful
experience. As soon as I put my hands in the cupped, palm over palm,

rainy cold and windy as I walked over to the Ellipse. We were said to be the
anchor for all of the prayers and love, and I could feel my feet almost
rooted to the spot. As I left, a little early, to get back for an
appointment, my step felt "springier" and I imagined stretching the anchor
over more of the earth as I walked. I kept praying, thanking God for the
sun, and then the rain and clouds too. I thought about little Georgie and
little Saddamie, inside these leaders, feeling scared and alone. I started
to pray for them to feel the love that was all around them, and suddenly I
felt it. An awareness of infinite love, all around us, never any lack. Only
ask for it and it's there.

the front by the children that looked like someone I know from the Landmark
Forum. I saw a man holding and rolling an open golden sphere, just like the
larger one on the grass by the children, and wondered what kind of energy
work he's into. A woman in white brought the children a quilt/banner for
them to hold, which was probably part of the Cloth of Many Colors, part of
another James Twyman project. I guess I'll never know all that went on that
day, but I'm glad I was there.

on is the only true way.I know there are two schools of thought on this. I
feel the energy goes where it does the most good.I also believe I am able to
use Reiki in my life in many ways. I guess I am looking for reinforcement of
my thoughts. What do you think?

have not had any problems with people receiving them... some of the
strongest attunements I've ever given were distantly. It all depends on the
person's openness and intent on receiving the Reiki energy. Who is that
Reiki Master to tell you that it isn't right or didn't work... Dr.Usui
wasn't given a hands on attunement and it seems like it
turned out alright for him! When it comes to Reiki the energy always knows
the highest good for all, so who are we as human channels to say what is
right and wrong, we don't have all the answers! Do what feels right for
you, follow your intuition and enjoy spreading Reiki to the world, everyone
needs it right now.

with a quiet mind. Before long I could feel the energy come in. In fact it
felt much stronger than my first attunement which was in a hands on
situation. One of my Spirit Guides even came to help. To learn about the
symbols, I read the book Essential Reiki by Diane Stein. My practice of
Reiki since then has included distance healings as well as hands-on. When I
mentioned the experience to my Reiki One teacher, she also responded with
extreme doubt. Perhaps our teachers just do not have experience with it as
we do, so cannot know how strong the energy comes. It was a pleasure to read
that we have had similar experiences. Thanks for sharing.
so you do not need to worry about what your local Reiki teacher said. If
Reiki can be sent from one side of the planet to another by way of distant
healing, then why on earthy couldn't an attunement be arranged in the same
way? Reiki is not limited by distance. In fact all attunements are distant
attunements really, no matter where the Reiki Master is standing. When you
attune someone you are not wading in with an invisible monkey wrench to
adjust someone's energy apparatus: you are simply making the introductions
between the student and the source. That can be done in many ways. But
learning Reiki is about more than just receiving distant attunements over
the Internet. You need to make sure that you are being taught and supported
properly by the person who attuned you.

1. My boyfriend had completed Reiki 2 and used to practise on me almost
everynight..until I stopped it as It stared to make me feel a little
ill...I used to get really hot and start to feel uncomfortable.... I didn't
tell him that as I didn't want to upset him... I never used to feel like
that... and I was wondering was it something I was going through...
2. I'm off to India at this month and I'm meeting my friend who has just
done a Reiki course 1-through to master this has taken him 3 weeks...He had
already done 1 and 2 but with this course you go through them all again...I
was told once that you should have breaks in between your course to learn
for your self as well....Now I know there's probably isn't real wrong or
right
with Reiki but do you recommend to go about your course this way...Thank you
for the time you take to read my questions and would appreciate your
thoughts
on these.

bright world that had just opened up for me, I was pretty ignorant. I'll
admit it, I was punch-drunk with energy. I felt the faster I raced though my
reiki levels, and the more attunements I could score would get me into
super-healer mode quicker than anyone else. After all, I had been a
Pentecostal, and dabbled in Tai Chi for years, what more could I learn from
the energy that I hadn't already experienced? Can anyone say EGO?

themselves and their environment, first year Martial Artist are at their
most dangerous. They, in their inexperience, are more apt to do damage to a
training partner due to lack of control than before they developed any
confidence at all. In a good do-jang (training school) this is where the
higher ranks step in to, shall we say, take the wind out of their sails.
This is more important for training than any technique someone could
physically learn. For here is where the rubber meets the road. The tenets of
a Martial Artists are honesty, loyalty, integrity, courtesy, humility,
self-control, perseverance, and indomitable spirit. They are not learned
from an outside source, but must be cultivated from within.

shift, they loosen up, let go, and life becomes more peaceful. They, in
turn, go out into their sphere of influence, in a more compassionate state
of being. Then, the people they have had contact with, are happier, more
compassionate, and spread it further. Literally, a shifting of positive
energy in one person affects the entire world! Isn't that what we as healers
are here for?

not a race, I can smile that infuriating smile, knowing I deeply understand
of what it is I speak.
The greatest master is not the one with the most students, but the one that
creates the most masters.
